During Christmas 2025, my family and I were traveling to visit relatives in Brazil after three years apart. We arrived early at the airport, but a technical issue with a ticket from a travel agency required us to seek help at the airline's counter. Unfortunately, no real assistance was provided. There was no escalation of our issue, no reissue of tickets, and no coordination with the travel agency. We were simply shuffled back and forth between the airline and the agency until our flight left. Consequently, we missed the entire trip and were unable to reunite with our family for the holidays. The emotional toll on my family was considerable. My wife was so shaken by the experience that she now feels anxious about going to an airport. For an international airline, the absence of basic support, empathy, and professionalism was incredibly disappointing. I share this to warn other travelers: if something goes wrong, do not expect assistance from the airline at the airport.
