I was initially pleased with the products I ordered, quality was good and delivery smooth. Unfortunately, I discovered I had been signed up to a $29.99/month subscription at checkout without my express consent. The “Premium VIP Support” add-on was automatically set to quantity 1, which is not lawful under UK consumer law.At first the company refused a full refund, offering only a voucher or partial credit. After I challenged them citing UK regulations, they did eventually process a full refund and cancel the subscription.While I appreciate the refund was finally honoured, I feel customers shouldn’t need to know consumer law to avoid hidden charges. This overshadowed what could have been a good shopping experience.My advice: check your basket carefully before you pay.
