It wasn’t until the end of November, after constant hounding, that one of the dresses (Adelaide) was dispatched.Substandard Product Quality – Nothing Like AdvertisedWhen the Adelaide dress finally arrived on November 27, 2024, the state of the product was appalling. It bore no resemblance to the advertised design or quality. The color was off, the embroidery was cheap and already falling apart, and the tailoring ignored the measurements we had painstakingly provided. The dress was poorly stitched, too short, and missing requested customizations like inner sleeves. The dupatta was light, flimsy, and nothing like the luxurious one displayed on their website.Fraudulent Business PracticesThe Margaret dress hasn’t even been delivered yet, but after seeing the state of the Adelaide dress, I have no desire to receive it. To add insult to injury, Afrozeh refuses to issue a refund, instead offering store credit. This is fraud and cheating, plain and simple. The products are grossly misrepresented, and customers are deceived into thinking they are purchasing premium bridal wear. It seems LAAM fosters a culture of scamming and exploiting customers across its brands, leaving countless people disappointed and out of pocket.Countless Negative Reviews OnlineSadly, my experience is not unique. A quick online search reveals an alarming number of complaints about Afrozeh, all highlighting similar issues—delayed deliveries, unresponsive customer service, and poor-quality products that do not match the advertisements. Afrozeh’s consistent pattern of misconduct is proof of their fraudulent business practices.Final VerdictAfrozeh is a company to avoid at all costs. They exploit customers with false marketing, provide substandard products, and refuse legitimate refund requests. I am escalating my complaint to the Consumer Protection Authority, the Competition Commission of Pakistan, and their parent company, LAAM.
