I received this oil on the 9th may and tried it for the first time on the evening of 11th May - as soon as I applied the oil to my hair the smell was overwhelmingly disgusting. It smelt like garlic and sour smells all over my hair. I tried to persevere and wrap my head as followed in tutorials but the oil made me physically sick and after a couple of hours I had to wash the oil out of my hair. The oil was also so much darker than advertised on the website and in their social platforms. The next morning was Monday 13th straight away I requested a return label to send the item back and also sent an email to customer service. On Wednesday 15th I received a response saying that because I had reported it to my bank that they wouldn’t send a replacement or a free bottle . I haven’t reported it to my bank - I tried to log a return on Klarna but don’t have a return label. Please note that at no point I have asked for a replacement or a free bottle. I simply want to send the item back for a refund which is proving impossible. Since then I have still yet to have received a response. My return has not even been approved so I cannot send the item back. This is not a £10-15 oil. It cost in excess of £90 for a bottle of oil and the customer service is absolutely awful. The products are super pungent smell and this should be disclosed before hand. I am always so reluctant to leave bad reviews but I feel like for the price tag, responses should be better and clearer.
