I book every year for same trip for last 5yrs BUT this week was being charged Malaysia Tourism tax by Agoda! This charge always collected by the hotel counter.
When I called the Agoda number, they say get refund from the hotel when I there? The receipt clearly states as collected by Agoda!!! When I asked for a refund, they tell me sent my passport pix to them over open internet? When I refused, they asked me to update the details into my Agoda profile address field ... sounds reasonable right? When I login in and check my profile, there is no address field!!! SO AGODA, HAS YOUR WEBSITE list of support phone numbers has been HACKED???
ALSO the person on the phone has lots of trouble accessing my booking information, etc.
