I purchased airline tickets from Bangalore to Goa as well as a hotel stay in December 2025. Upon arriving at the airport, we were in formaed that Indigo airlines had cancelled all flights. We checked in at the customer service window and they informed us that a full refund would be issued immediately. I immediately emailed Agoda to cancel my hotel as well, but they replied that we were outside the required cancellation window. I was very shocked that they would not cancel any part of my stay even though the events causing us to not be able to make our reservation was out of our control and Agoda should have been aware of the situation and accommodated us. Upon returning home, I waited for the airline ticket refund which never arrived. I filed a complaint with my credit card company and they opened up a case. Not only did Agoda not refund my airline ticket, they stated that my flight actually occurred and that I was basically lying! Indigo had refunded the ticket to Agoda and they still refused to reimburse me! That is criminal! I have refiled the case with objective evidence to substantiate my claim with my bank, and am waiting to hear back. It has been over 3 months now. Any business that values their customers would not only issue an immediate refund for the airline tickets, but also for the hotel, especially under the circumstances. I would highly advise against using this service. They follow very corrupt business practices and seem to lack any form of business ethics!
