I asked Agoda if, given the unforeseen circumstances, they could help me to reschedule the trip and apply my budget to a later date. They asked for documentation confirming the situation, which I provided. Their response was that the hotel did not accept my request. I then called the hotel directly, and they gave me a discount, free breakfast for two, and rescheduled my trip. Booking with Agoda is not recommended.
