On 18.01.2026, we were a group of 20, including 6 children, set for a cruise around the Canary Islands. We were supposed to board the ship, but the staff denied us access due to a visa issue for Morocco. As Ukrainian citizens, along with one Polish member, we believed we could remain on board without disembarking in Morocco, as per international maritime rules. Despite our explanations, they refused us entry, citing potential emergencies as their concern. We even offered to take responsibility for any issues that arose, but they still turned us away. This left us completely devastated and emotionally drained after long flights from different countries. We noticed other families in the same situation, all equally shocked. This was not our first trip, but it turned out to be an awful experience. Our friends had saved for six months to fund this cruise, which was supposed to include stops in Morocco. We proposed to disembark in Lanzarote instead, but they refused that as well. The company did not refund our money and imposed significant penalties, leaving us to spend time in hotels in Gran Canaria, which we couldn't afford. Thankfully, good friends helped us financially. As we wait for our flight back on 25.01.2026, we are extremely disappointed and strongly advise against this cruise service!
