Our experience with AirAdvisor has been terrible due to their highly questionable and unfair business practices. Our initial approach was purely exploratory. When they requested further sensitive data and documents to proceed, we decided not to go any further with their service and chose to handle the claim directly with the airline ourselves.

AirAdvisor even sent us an explicit email stating that, unless we provided the missing data by the end of that day, the claim would be automatically cancelled. By choosing not to respond, we effectively accepted their terms for cancellation.

Despite the fact that they never received a full mandate or the necessary documents to act on our behalf, they are now demanding a €200 commission on a refund we obtained exclusively through our own direct initiative. They are completely ignoring the evidence of their own cancellation email and continue to send harassing automated reminders. This behavior is unprofessional, illogical, and lacks any legal basis. Stay away.

11/02/2026 - UPDATE: The company responded to my review trying to justify themselves with legal technicalities (ignoring their own written cancellation of the case). Incredibly, they concluded by asking me to 'revise or change the rating' now that the issue has been 'addressed'. The issue is NOT addressed at all, as you are still demanding money that is not owed. I find it shameful to ask for a better rating while continuing to ignore the facts. I will not change my rating until I receive written confirmation that all financial claims against me have been dropped.
