I had a disappointing experience with the airline on my flight from a destination to another with a connection in a transit city. My initial flight was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight. The next available flight was scheduled for the following day. Although the airline provided accommodations, transportation, and meals, the overall organization was lacking. At the airport, the staff seemed overwhelmed and struggled to manage the situation. We had to wait in line for about 1–1.5 hours just to receive necessary documents and information. The hotel provided was fairly average and quite dated. The tap water was rusty, and the check-in process took an additional 2–3 hours. I arrived at the hotel around 1:40 PM and didn’t get my room until around 6 PM, which was exhausting after a long journey. The food was acceptable but offered very limited choices. The following morning, we were taken back to the airport, and the replacement flight was delayed again by about an hour. Another frustrating issue was regarding my booking; I had paid extra for seat selection and meals. While the first leg of the journey was fine, on the second flight, I was given an uncomfortable seat that I hadn't chosen, and no meal was provided. I had to remind the staff, and they eventually brought me just a sandwich, even though I had ordered something different. Overall, this experience was stressful, poorly organized, and did not meet my expectations. I would not recommend this airline for long international flights, especially with tight connections.
