I had a terrible experience with Airbnb.I booked a room after confirming with the host that early check-in was possible.Upon arrival, the room was not available, it was dirty, and other people were still inside.I couldn’t use the accommodation at all.Airbnb acknowledged the host’s fault and refunded me only for the taxi expenses — but refused to refund the full accommodation cost.They tried to confuse the situation by mixing the taxi refund with the accommodation payment.In the end, I paid €40.71 for a service that was never provided.This is not the first issue I’ve had with Airbnb.Support is slow, unhelpful, and more interested in protecting hosts than guests.With Booking.com, I’ve never had such problems — guests are respected there.This was my last time using Airbnb.Disappointed and switching permanently to Booking.
