Fraudulent trading? What would you call it when you take money for a seat booking, then months before the flight move the customer to much worse seats, much further back, without extra leg room and losing the window seat...all previously paid for on booking and still available. Then, asking for further money to re-secure the seats already paid for (or indeed still worse ones)...to be moved again? to have to pay again? and again, and again? Air France take money for seat bookings then gratuitously move you, to re-sell them, whether to you or someone else, whilst pocketing the money already taken. How can that be legal? It is disgraceful and dishonest. I can only advise not to book seats at all. The Company cannot be trusted and you may as well throw your money down the drain. I can see from other reviews that our experiences are systematic. It is obviously what staff are briefed to doThe "customer service" then plumbs the depths of utter unhelpfulness, excelling even in a sector where standards are so poor. Your enquiries will mainly not even be read but responded to with an AI auto fob off and/or cut and paste text reply based on words in your complaint, eg "seat". They don't give a damn, including about the thousands of terrible reviews. Again, obviously the staffed are briefed ro behave like that. The business obviously comes in anyway, but ours won't ever again.
