In 2023, my flight was delayed by more than 5 hours, so I relied on AirHelp. A few months ago, after almost 3 years, the company contacted me demanding that I pay them 50% of the compensation, claiming that the airline had finally reimbursed me directly. Unfortunately, I had not received any refund during this time, so I asked AirHelp to prove that the payment had actually been made. Until I received proof of the transaction, I refused to pay their commission.
Meanwhile, they kept threatening me, saying they would take legal action if I didn’t pay them promptly. And what did I find out? That I had actually been reimbursed—but in 2024, TWO YEARS AGO!!!
Terrible service. You need to get your act together! If your goal is to lose customers, you’ve succeeded. You won’t see me again, nor anyone I know. Keep your 50%—this is a SCAM!
