I paid full fare for a business class flight between Mauritius and Cape Town. Despite sitting near the front of the business class cabin the vegetarian option was not available. No alternative was offered or forthcoming.In addition the screen was out of order for the entire flight. No explanation or apology that I sat with no meal or entertainment for 5.5 hours. Back home and after making a complaint I was offered a 25% discount on the Cape Town/Mauritius route but I am unlikely to travel to Africa again and since requesting the discount be applied to a route of my choosing there has been no contact from Air Mauritius. I am very disappointed in the lack of communication from Air Mauritius. I feel they compare very unfavourably with other airlines such as BA and Virgin in this respect
