Disappointing Customer Service and Misleading Information

I recently had the unfortunate experience of flying with Air Mauritius, flight no MK748 on 06/07/2023,PNR 6CTN23,and I must say that it was a deeply disappointing and frustrating encounter. The customer service provided by the airline, particularly by a staff member named Munbodh T, was shockingly subpar.Firstly, the impolite behavior displayed by Munbodh T was unacceptable. Instead of providing assistance and addressing my concerns with professionalism, they exhibited rudeness and a dismissive attitude. It is disheartening to witness such discourteous behavior from a representative of an airline that prides itself on delivering quality service.Additionally, the lack of knowledge exhibited by Munbodh T regarding the aircraft seating configuration was astonishing. Their inability to provide accurate information about seat availability and allocation was frustrating, to say the least. This lack of knowledge is indicative of a broader issue within the airline's training and staff development programs, which ultimately results in a disservice to its passengers.Furthermore, what truly astonished me was the deceptive claim made by Munbodh T regarding the aircraft's occupancy. Despite clear evidence suggesting a half-empty flight, they insisted on falsely asserting that the aircraft was fully occupied. This deliberate attempt to mislead customers is not only unprofessional but also undermines the trust that passengers place in the airline.Overall, my experience with Air Mauritius was marred by the combination of poor customer service, impolite behavior, a lack of knowledge regarding aircraft seating, and misleading information provided by Munbodh T. It is disheartening to witness such a decline in the standards of an airline that was once renowned for its quality service. I sincerely hope that Air Mauritius takes immediate action to rectify these issues and restore its reputation for providing a satisfactory customer experience.
