After a flight diversion due to land in chch I ended up in Auckland airport at 2am being told by airnz staff that they couldn’t find any accomodation for us and that we had to find our own which would be reimbursed or we were “welcome to stay in the international terminal until our rescheduled flight”. I’ve sent through all my receipts for 11th hour accomodation and Uber trips to and from the airport (the flight I was rescheduled on wasn’t until 2pm the following day). I’ve just been advised by your customer service team that only $250 will be refunded of the total $480 I spent.Terrible service, and complete disregard for all the passenger left in the airport at 2am with no accomodation. I book with airnz because I trust I’ll be looked after when things go wrong, however this was not the case at all. I feel completely let down by your processes and customer experience. I hate to say it but it’s something I’d expect from Jetstar, not from airline of your calibre.
