Stressful experience checking in my dog for a flight

The process of checking in my dog for a two-hour domestic flight was incredibly stressful. The company has now eliminated water, soft toys, and even a hoodie for safety reasons, leaving only the dog's bed. In contrast, many other airlines allow pets in the cabin. This is truly disappointing and somewhat embarrassing.

The experience of checking in my dog for a short domestic flight was extremely stressful. The company has decided to remove water, soft toys, and even a hoodie, citing concerns for the dog's safety. All they allow is the pet's bed. Meanwhile, many other places permit pets in the cabin. This is very disappointing and frankly embarrassing.

A mixed experience

After having given a harsh review of a recent flight from Singapore to Auckland due to chaos at the airport and uncomfortable seating, I found this flight from Auckland to Vancouver with the new business class setup to be a relief. The staff was good, and everything functioned well. Domestic flights recently were just okay—some delays and crowded, but the app provided useful updates. I might reconsider using this airline unless improvements are made.

Unsatisfactory long-haul flight experience

I was disappointed with my long-haul flight from Tokyo to Auckland, which was operated by a contracted company without prior notice. The Premium Economy service was poor, the entertainment system failed, and the selection of movies was very limited. After I complained, the company gave me a vague explanation and offered $60 in compensation. I won't fly with them again.

Long-term traveler disappointment

Having traveled with this airline for over 40 years, I am quite disappointed by the decline in service. There seems to be a dismissive attitude from some crew members, which affects the experience. On a recent Business Class flight to Vancouver, I found my table was unusable. I was offered a choice between moving to another seat or a $60 compensation, which felt inadequate given the cost of the ticket. I reported my experience upon returning, but ultimately decided to forgo the compensation. This will likely be my last flight with them, as I've also faced delays on previous trips.

On my flight from Auckland to Houston, the staff were impeccable. Every interaction, from check-in to the airline crew, was flawless. Any questions were answered promptly, and they even provided a helpful map for navigating the arrival airport. They really went above and beyond.
