I've been using AJAX Security as an installer and also a user myself now for 9 months across 4 sites (200+ devices installed across security, CCTV; Fire and Automation) and finally got time to write a review. The product and service is quite remarkable and it is worth writing about.
Firstly the product : It is rare that companies do well at both hardware and software - you can count on probably one hand companies that manage this (Apple for example) and AJAX is one of them. The hardware is excellent - it looks good, performs well, is feature rich, reliable and easy to install and use. It has been designed really well and manufactured well.
The software is exceptional - iPhone app' for both installer and end user, Mac apps for both installer and end user - a total pleasure to use. New updates come regularly - every few weeks and these apps are polished!!!
Then there is the service. First line support available to installers by a simple email is incredible- No complex ticketing or websites, just a simple email to support and a few hours later a real person who knows what they are talking about sends you a proper, personal, detailed reply (not a generic template). I have used support 5 or 6 times and every single time I am impressed to get a thorough, detailed email back exactly about my situation rather than what you often get from companies which is a template that only half matches your situation or a link to an article that isnt helpful.
And then there is the training - Incredible online training at AJAX Academy. Hundreds of well produced videos, well organised into courses with exams. I have done my Basic Course and two Superior Courses and Exams and have all three certificates. And all free of charge.
I am so so happy to have found AJAX both for myself and our clients. It is genuinely a quite remarkable company:
My only minor issues is that the product range is extensive (which is great) but my wholesaler (NAPAD.pl) doesnt stock the whole range so sometimes I have to hunt around with other wholesalers for some parts or persuade NAPAD to make a special order (for example the wall light switches as part of the automation range).
If more companies got hardware, software, support and training all to this standard we would literally be living in a different world.
