Review Time
I've been using AJAX Security as an installer and also a user myself now for 9 months across 4 sites (200+ devices installed across security, CCTV; Fire and Automation) and finally got time to write a review. The product and service is quite remarkable and it is worth writing about.
Firstly the product : It is rare that companies do well at both hardware and software - you can count on probably one hand companies that manage this (Apple for example) and AJAX is one of them. The hardware is excellent - it looks good, performs well, is feature rich, reliable and easy to install and use. It has been designed really well and manufactured well.
The software is exceptional - iPhone app' for both installer and end user, Mac apps for both installer and end user - a total pleasure to use. New updates come regularly - every few weeks and these apps are polished!!!
Then there is the service. First line support available to installers by a simple email is incredible- No complex ticketing or websites, just a simple email to support and a few hours later a real person who knows what they are talking about sends you a proper, personal, detailed reply (not a generic template). I have used support 5 or 6 times and every single time I am impressed to get a thorough, detailed email back exactly about my situation rather than what you often get from companies which is a template that only half matches your situation or a link to an article that isnt helpful.
And then there is the training - Incredible online training at AJAX Academy. Hundreds of well produced videos, well organised into courses with exams. I have done my Basic Course and two Superior Courses and Exams and have all three certificates. And all free of charge.

My only minor issues is that the product range is extensive (which is great) but my wholesaler (NAPAD.pl) doesnt stock the whole range so sometimes I have to hunt around with other wholesalers for some parts or persuade NAPAD to make a special order (for example the wall light switches as part of the automation range).
If more companies got hardware, software, support and training all to this standard we would literally be living in a different world.

Ajax is the way to go. Immediate visual alarm verification is of great importance in the South African context. The support is great and precise. The installation is effortless and systems can be monitored and remotely managed from you smart phone. I initially read about Ajax and watched YouTube events from Ajax. My installation company highly recommended Ajax as well. I trust Ajax so much that the system has been expanded to an impenetrable system. Great news is that Ajax is far less susceptible to lightning, I have also decided that this could my benign contribution to support Ukraine.
Very happy with the system. Absolutely reliable. Since the installation, no intervention on any component or setting was neccesary. Connectivity with the smartphone is great. Installation was quickly made. The technician was competent and clean.

I am extremely satisfied with the home security kit I received, which includes intrusion and fire sensors. The sensors and the home hub are simple to set up and offer excellent range—I didn't need to install extenders in my three-story house, which is impressive. The mobile app is fairly user-friendly; I would suggest reconsidering some of the terminology for certain features, but overall, it's fantastic—packed with options and performs as promised. I contacted the support team through their online form yesterday and got a prompt and thorough reply that addressed my issue. I wholeheartedly recommend both the hardware and the service.
I am completely satisfied with this product — it’s a very intelligent system featuring a clear and user-friendly interface. I also want to highlight the excellent service provided by a representative who assisted us here in Italy. Additionally, all the devices have a modern and minimalistic design that I truly appreciate! The only question I have is why the outdoor unit lacks an indicator light; from the outside, it’s nearly impossible to tell that an alarm system is in place.
I've communicated with a representative in the community regarding various questions and suggestions. Today, I reached out unexpectedly about a new situation a customer presented. He promptly responded in a friendly way, offering a couple of effective solutions suitable for customer installations. Thank you once again!
The alarm system works excellently, especially when activated via the app, with no issues whatsoever. However, manually setting the alarm is quite challenging. We have different holiday guests at our property who need to set the alarm manually, and they often trigger it when entering and exiting. This indicates that the time allowed may be too short; we also struggled with manual setting during our last visit. Some improvements are necessary.
