On December 24, I attempted to book a round-trip ticket online with an airline. Despite my credit card being charged, I have yet to receive the flight tickets. The problem seems to stem from the airline marking the payment as ‘unsuccessful,’ while the payment platform indicated it was ‘successful.’
Immediately after completing the online payment, I received a notification from the airline stating that the payment had failed. Just a minute later, I received a confirmation from the payment platform that the payment was successful and processed to the airline.
After sending four emails to their various contacts and reaching out via their social media as suggested, I have received no response. I am left without plane tickets and no refund to my account.
Additionally, I had to cancel my holiday plans, which included a wellness retreat package that won’t be fully refunded. It’s hard to believe that in this technological age, the airline is facing such outdated technical problems and poor customer support. If I could, I would rate them lower than 1 star.
