Though I don’t visit as often as I should, each trip leaves me impressed by the selection of meats and vegetables available. The quality is genuine and reasonably priced. My last visit was just before the holidays to pick up my ducks and gammon, and I came away with more than I expected.
We have been customers of this butcher for many years. The staff are consistently helpful and knowledgeable, with one team member particularly standing out. We won’t consider going elsewhere, as we know we’re getting high-quality meats. The pies this year are the best we've had, very tasty—thank you to the team, and we look forward to a delicious 2026!
As a small local charity, we place a significant order every Christmas for our hamper initiative. We purchase about 100 turkeys and packs of pigs in blankets. The quality is always superb, and the prices are reasonable. They are completely reliable. Every delivery driver has been punctual, friendly, and professional, just like the office staff. I used to think this butcher was fantastic, offering good value and a great selection. However, in recent months, things have changed. They've significantly raised the prices of their meat boxes online, and the in-store selection hasn’t been as impressive. It’s disappointing because they were excellent until now.
We regularly purchase meat boxes from this butcher and portion them to our needs. It turns out to be about 30% less expensive than equivalent products from a supermarket, while being much higher quality and lasting longer. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
