Aldi seem to have a poor attitude to their Disabled customers.I have a Blue Badge and my mother asked me to take her to her local Aldi which is Mercury Drive in Wolverhampton. Firstly I couldn’t find any disabled parking spaces so I had to park in one of the many parent and child spaces along the side of the store.I did a bit of shopping while my mother did her main trolley shop around the store. I have multiple disabilities including mobility issues but also I have a bowel condition ( Bile Acid Diarrhoea) which means I urgently need to use the toilet. Near the checkouts there are toilets behind a door, I know because I’ve used them once before but the supervisor said I would have to prove my disability before I used the toilet. I would describe her of Central European origin, possibly Polish, judging by her accent. Although I was in great distress I went to my car and got my ‘Just Can’t Wait’ issued by the Bladder & Bowel Community organisation. When I came out of the toilet I heard the supervisor talking about me in a disparaging way.I wrote to Aldi Head Office, Atherstone about my experience but never got the courtesy of a reply
