Disappointing Experience at Aldi Wishaw. I’m very disappointed with the way my son and his friends were treated at the store.The floor was wet and the warning sign wasn’t placed properly — one of them slipped but thankfully didn’t fall. Instead of checking if they were okay, a male staff member in a high-vis vest blocked their way and asked abruptly, “What do you want?” Moments later, a female staff member near the checkout shouted across the store, “Get what you need and get out!” — loud enough for everyone to hear.Before they even reached the checkout, the same male staff member accused one of them of putting something in his pocket. The boys immediately showed they had nothing and left feeling embarrassed and upset.This situation could have been handled with understanding and respect. Between the poor safety standards, false accusation, and rude behaviour, it was an unacceptable experience. I hope Aldi looks into this and ensures staff receive proper training on customer care and professionalism, especially when dealing with young people.
