Visiting the store around mid-day last Sunday we found the main carpark full so we tried to exit and park in the. Carpark next to the main entrance but became blocked in by an Aldi articulated lorry, having sat there a worker appears and instructed the drivers to all reverse back the full length of the store stupidly I complied but wished I hadn't I nearly took out a lady with a trolley who rushed past the rear of our car then nearly hit 2 further cars who were reversing from their parking spaces having finally parked I was angry with the Aldi worker and myself for listening to him .I confronted him as to why customers had to take such a risk reversing back around a one way system ,I commented he couldn't run a p--s up in a brewery but his excuse was to blame other customers parking for making it difficult For the driver to enter .15 minutes later I'm confronted by the employee and unknown to me the manager behind my back the employee had his face in mine demanding an apology which I said wasn't going to happen as the manager pushed him away then grabs my shopping and barrs me from the store, the manager should have diffused the situation but made it worse .Finally I write so others can learn from my mistakes of reversing a one way system I should have ignored him given my 55 years exp as an industrial engine used to writing risk assessment and method statements which Aldi appear to have neither for this hazard at their store. All that is needed is to block certain parking spaces 1hr before a delivery and everything would run smoothly and quickly and Joe public like we myself would not have 3 near misses
