I reached out to customer service, providing clear photos of the packaging and the mouldy contents. They instructed me to return it to the store with my receipt or bank statement for a refund. I explained that I'm 80, paid in cash for a large shopping trip, didn't keep the receipt, and live 34 miles away. Their response was essentially dismissive, stating they couldn't assist me. The customer service was appalling; thankfully, my local store treats customers with respect.
