CAUTION: I had a troubling experience with the self checkouts. After scanning my items, I thought my total was high, assuming it was due to purchasing meat. When I got home and reviewed my receipt, I noticed I was charged for items I did not buy. I returned to the location, and they reviewed the CCTV, confirming $35 worth of products were incorrectly charged to me. I was blamed for not checking the screen before starting. I clarified that no one was there before me and that the charges weren't visible at the beginning. Despite this, I received no apology. A friend shared a similar experience at another location. Everyone, please check your receipts and speak up. The company is aware of this self-service issue but seems to only act when it's brought to their attention. It's concerning and feels like greed!
