Score should be zero, not one.

The score is definitely zero, not one. The staff at the local store are confrontational, rude, unpleasant, disrespectful, and uninformed. Two employees have publicly criticized me in front of other customers, while two others have also been unkind and mocking (I don't know their names); one even obscured their name badge! They are not suited for roles in customer service! The treatment I received is utterly appalling and unacceptable. The company needs to remove these inadequate employees and establish a code of ethics along with a minimum standard for hiring.

CAUTION: Disappointing Experience with Self Checkouts

CAUTION: I had a troubling experience with the self checkouts. After scanning my items, I thought my total was high, assuming it was due to purchasing meat. When I got home and reviewed my receipt, I noticed I was charged for items I did not buy. I returned to the location, and they reviewed the CCTV, confirming $35 worth of products were incorrectly charged to me. I was blamed for not checking the screen before starting. I clarified that no one was there before me and that the charges weren't visible at the beginning. Despite this, I received no apology. A friend shared a similar experience at another location. Everyone, please check your receipts and speak up. The company is aware of this self-service issue but seems to only act when it's brought to their attention. It's concerning and feels like greed!

Disappointing Stock Availability Experience

I visited the store to purchase an item that was shown as ‘in stock’ online. Upon arrival, I was informed that it was out of stock and that another nearby location (12 km away) had limited availability. After 1.5 hours, I returned home empty-handed. This was quite frustrating! While the business model may be effective, the customer experience leaves much to be desired.

Frustrating Stock Issues

I visited the store to purchase an item that was listed as ‘in stock’ online. Upon arrival, I was informed there was no stock available and directed to another location 12 km away that had limited stock. After a 1.5-hour trip, I returned home empty-handed. This experience was very frustrating! While it may be a solid business model, it results in a poor customer experience.

Disappointing Beer Change

The beer I enjoyed was originally 5% ALC/VOL, but recently it was quietly reduced to 4.5% ALC/VOL. Typically, in Australia, a lower alcohol content means a lower price, yet the seller kept the price the same. Farewell to this service, I’ll be shopping elsewhere.

Stock Issues Persist

Bath soap has been out of stock for a month, and it took 6 weeks to restock dishwasher tablets. The service is lacking, and they seem reluctant to open extra registers during busy times. Their business approach is questionable. With two stores within a 5 km radius and another opening soon, it makes no sense if they can't maintain stock. Very disappointing.

Quality Decline

The quality of products has significantly declined. Fruits and vegetables are often overpriced and poor quality, with rotten items occasionally found. Chicken breasts have a questionable appearance, and frozen chips taste stale. The spiced ham has become overly spicy with no notice of the change. Customer service is unhelpful, and the shopping environment is frustrating. I've decided to stop shopping here after many years of loyalty.

Stock Availability Issues

I was looking for two slushy machines but was out of town when they became available. After checking multiple stores without success, I traveled two hours to a location that was listed as having low stock, only to find they were out as well. It would be helpful if out-of-stock items were updated more promptly.

Trolley Availability Problems

At this location, there are rarely any trolleys available, despite notifying the store multiple times. They claim it’s a third-party issue, forcing customers to go to the parking lot to retrieve a trolley. The produce is often not fresh, leading me to stop buying from this service.
