I would strongly caution anyone considering ordering from Alexander-Hampton.
The shoes I received were $35 and are absolute junk. The quality is shockingly poor — cheap materials, poorly constructed, and nothing like what is represented online. After receiving them, I looked further and saw multiple negative reviews describing the exact same issues. That should have been my first clue.
When I contacted customer service, the “resolution” offered was either:
• A 15% refund (about $5) to keep a defective product
OR
• Return the item to China at my own expense — quoted at $40–$50 — to receive a full refund on a $35 purchase.
Read that again. They expect customers to pay more to return the item than the item itself costs.
This is not customer service. It’s a return-avoidance strategy designed to make refunds financially impractical.
A reputable company stands behind its product. This company hides behind an overseas return address and policies that effectively prevent legitimate refunds.
Save your money. The product quality does not match the marketing, and if there’s an issue, you’ll be stuck.
Absolutely unacceptable.
