I got in contact with Alexander Peter Wealth Management through Unbiased.During the initial consultation with Mr. Griffiths it became apparent that they could not help me with my present query, however he was very transparent about it and helpful and in pointing me in the right direction. In the future I will definitely keep them in mind when I will need financial advice in the EU.
My experience in dealing with Paul Griffith and India was very positive. I wish I had started the process earlier but regardless of that everything was completed in a timely manner. Living in France I knew about the 7.5% French tax would apply on the tax free lump sum from the UK, I was however not aware of the further 9% social charges. I would have been in for a shock had Paul not pointed out all the ins and outs. All e mails etc were dealt with promptly and he made sure that I fully understood the tailored investment plan. I look forward to what will hopefully be a long and happy retirement.
My pension pot was a pretty long and drawn out case due to me having very little knowledge of it and if at all it was existent due to the age of the policy from more than 30 years ago.Initially my pension was found quite quickly by Nicholas Cole and his hard efforts to track it.Nicola Brady then took over to make contact with my pension broker to find out details of my policies and my broker went out of their way to be as slow and difficult as possible to drag things on forever over the slightest of things with no contact by email available and a response by post within 15 days, this was clearly a delay tac tic to hold on to the money or maybe even to force people to give up.During this time I had a video call with Paul Griffiths who offered me some good advise for when my policy matures.Once all of the documentation was in place and received from my broker, I was contacted by Matt Gould and we had a detailed telephone conversation about future plans and the options available.Once I had received the transfer documents, Matt Gould personally came to my home to check and collect these documents and has led me hand in hand to transfer my pension, which is all completed now and I am more than happy with all of the staff that I have dealt with at Alexander Peter Wealth Management and I would highly recommend them, particularly to those, like myself who contacted a few scamming companies and I was followed up with numerous calls promising the impossible...and illegally.
As an expat living in the Canaries I needed to deal with my Uk Pension and I found Alexander Peter Wealth Management on the Internet. I was very sceptical and wary at first, but Aftab Khan & his assistant Georgie have been very patient and taken the time to answer any queries without pressuring me. I now feel confident and have transferred my pension as per their advice
I wasn't able to give Zero stars. Stay clear of Alexander Peter Wealth. They are NOT Managing your wealth!!!They took my money, watched it fall by 40% and never "once" contacted me in 18 months other than in response to my constant chasing emails, and phone calls. The phone number they gave me was disconnected (yes really) - extremely worrying when they had 100's thousands of my money. Our Sipp Pension basically dissipated and if it wasn't for my intervention, would have dropped further. Ignored Emails and Zero money management going on here.I would seriously recommend against using this company. Caveat Emptor - You have been reported!!RESPONSE Your response was what I expected. Your colleague Mat Gould was reacting to my many emails and phone calls that went ignored. Furthermore, by the time he did connect with me, the damage had already been done and we had lost 30% of our hard-earned savings. You essentially set my savings and completely ignored that measures could have been taken to avoid such heavy losses. Furthermore, you cleverly wrapped a $30,000 commission into my savings which I lost immediately I signed contracts. Also, there were bankruptcies from handling paper authorities as your companywas not authorised to sign these investments off (weird) that I had to deal with during this process which made me feel extremely uneasy and we were not notified. Please be aware of this company and do not be swayed by the seemingly honest response. I have pulled my funds from them and placed them with a new investment broker that keeps in regular contact and "advises" me on how best to invest my funds.
I am by far not a wealthy person, but someone who has lived and worked in various countries throughout my life. When I was faced with trying to withdraw my 25% tax-free lump sum at the age of 55 from my UK pension, it proved an almost impossible task to accomplish now that I live overseas. Matt and India and Georgie and Nicole and the entire APWM crew made what I thought would be impossible possible. Big thanks to them all!
This is a review for Matt Gould. After contacting Alexander Peter for help, Matt contacted me within hours and his rapid response to my questions continued until the business was concluded last week. The information and timeframe he gave was accurate. It was pleasant and stress free to work with Matt, and I would highly recommend him.

Paul was very knowledgeable and super clear on everything from the get go, on the process, the fees, what it would take; Nicole turned around the paperwork faster than I could sign it! I had been told transfering my pension would be complicated and lengthy process, and in the end, with their help, it was seemless and fast.
