Came home from work at 6:10pm to be locked out of my apartment. Alex Neil visiting without any notification through illegal entry and engaging an additional lock on the way out. They blamed the landlord, claiming he said the property was vacant, despite having my rental agreement with Alex Neil direct, and them clearly not checking any records in advance or sending me any notification of the visit. I call and the office is closed, I have no where to stay for the night. I called a lock smith to gain entry (legally fine in this situation), to have Alex Neil string out a chain of emails trying to negate the expense including threating illegal forced entry and that I'd have to pay for the privilege. After consistently trying to make the payment dependent on non legal requirements and sending me a non related part of the contract regarding tenants changing keys and me having to personally invest over 10 hours of my time and other penalties, they sent me the money for the lock smith and £50, which is the minimum I would have got if it went to the ombudsman. Landlords and tenants should stay well clear of this agency. If there's any challenges to this, I am happy to provide the full emails to validate everything. Most concerning is that the majority of this was done by the same person who they have as the official complaints escalation contact (Rebecca).

Flat evaluation cancelled 15 minutes before the appointment. No warning, no apology - just a few passive-aggressive comments. Brilliant service. Maybe you should train your employees how to speak since they are losing customers in a broad daylight.
Phoned regarding a valuation, got a call back from an extremely verbose young woman who had so much to say for herself that she hardly stopped for a breath! TOLD me she will get someone there that afternoon to take photographs? er hello: a) how about asking what is a convenient date for me and b) I did not appoint you so a bit soon to be talking about photographs? Declared herself to be 'better educated' and throughout her inane rhetoric lost sight of the one fundamental fact, that she does NOT own the property, the homeowner does and therefore has a vested interest in the conversation. I hope the calls are recorded so someone senior might provide her with some much needed 'education' on civility, courtesy and people skills. I will not be using this company as I do not wish to deal with people like her, she is not a good ambassador for the company.
