The Queens Hotel was quite good. Public areas were nicely decorated, and the staff were very friendly. The entertainment room was unheated until we raised the issue on the third day. The entertainers were enjoyable, especially Lexy. While the food was simple, it was served hot and promptly. Complimentary mulled wine on the first night was a lovely touch, and the scratch card gifts on the last evening were a delightful surprise. I paid extra for a cozy sea view room, though the bathroom had a lingering odor from years of use. However, it was kept clean, with fresh towels daily. The outings were short but acceptable despite the weather. The driver seemed grumpy; better communication would help.
