The coach was well-maintained, and the driver navigated some challenging weather conditions with care. The hotel was clean, warm, and beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The meals provided were hot, delicious, and offered a good variety. My only disappointment was with Santa’s gift—I received a packet of three plain biscuits, which felt a bit underwhelming. I would have preferred a message about luck instead. Unfortunately, our trip to the city didn’t feature a carol service at the cathedral this year.
Had a wonderful Christmas break in Melrose. The only letdown was the entertainment singer and bingo caller; I found it hard to understand him, and others felt the same. The hotel was great—warm, clean, and provided a good room with excellent food and drink. Thank you!

The holidays offered by the company are reasonably priced, making me a loyal customer. I prefer coach holidays within the UK for comfort. I recently enjoyed a festive getaway at a historic hotel in Llandudno, currently updating its decor. I appreciate the variety of meals, with sufficient vegan options. The included day trips and evening entertainment enhance the experience. The hotels are usually near the beach, providing lovely views, and I find the winter Christmas breaks particularly enjoyable.
The Queens Hotel was quite good. Public areas were nicely decorated, and the staff were very friendly. The entertainment room was unheated until we raised the issue on the third day. The entertainers were enjoyable, especially Lexy. While the food was simple, it was served hot and promptly. Complimentary mulled wine on the first night was a lovely touch, and the scratch card gifts on the last evening were a delightful surprise. I paid extra for a cozy sea view room, though the bathroom had a lingering odor from years of use. However, it was kept clean, with fresh towels daily. The outings were short but acceptable despite the weather. The driver seemed grumpy; better communication would help.
Had a fantastic holiday at the New Beach Hotel with Alfa .Lovely friendly staff and great food.Top notch coach driver and all luggage taken to your room and reloaded on departure.Good entertainment on an evening and nice warm rooms which was newly refurbished.The excursion to the Thursford show was brilliant.Top marks to Alfa and looking forward to the next trip
Just returned from a Baileys Travel Group to Queens Hotel Eastbourne . Had a wondeful time - staff hard working , we had an amazing driving with Alfa - Russell Ward went above and beyond and would certainly recommend him for future Groups . Entertainment good . A Coach full of happy people - few have re booked for next year when we go to Bournemouth .
Lovely hotel with nice decor and comfortable lounge area. Food very good on the whole especially the soups. Unfortunately, Salisbury Christmas market was not open, so 4 hours there was a bit too long. Bournemouth winter lights were worth seeing.
