After having a bad experience with UHaul, I called All American Moving Group on a Sunday morning,- not expecting to get a real person. An individual named Buddy Baker answered. I told him I needed to move in two weeks and what had happened with UHaul. He proceeded with one lie after another concerning this company. I gave a deposit of 4200.00 (200.00 of that was for their 5% charge for credit cards that I wasn't told about until later) I was then expected to provide two more cashier checks for the balance of 8400.00. TWO DAYS before the move, I received emails from a person named Michael Cooper who went over the belongings that Buddy Baker sloppily and incorrectly copied down. He told me that I owed another 4000.00 for 'extra space'. I had no choice as my house was sold/closing and new people were moving in. I have never had such a horrendous experience with any company. From start to finish, they lied and were unprofessional. I was lied to by the sales person Buddy Baker for the total amount. He also lied saying he would be always available even on the day of the move. Every time I called him for help, he blew me off. Michael Cooper argued with me on the phone concerning the estimate and amount of space I was quoted. These people are truly untrustworthy and unprofessional on every level. They have made my cross country move exceedingly unpleasant. Addition- If you look on their website, there are only positive reviews. If you attempt to place a review less than 5 stars, it is not allowed. Response to their response. What a bunch of bull. That's all I can say. Hundreds of reviews and complaints on BBB site all saying the same thing. Acting friendly, taking the deposit, then grossly and purposely underestimating the items in the house even after photos are sent, then sending a truck that has extremely minimal space, then having to rent yet another truck. Even the driver of the truck told me that they do this on purpose if you tell them you have to be out of a home that is sold, etc. These people by FAR, are the most dishonest liars I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I can't even believe they are allowed to still be in business with the massive number of complaints to Georgia attorney general and BBB. Now they are trying to save their asses. I hope they all are put in jail..which is what they deserve. New name for the company and pretending to care....trying to save their asses. Unbelievable. If you wanted to "help" you would refund my 12,000.00 that I paid for NOTHING.
