While my vehicle was being repaired, the insurance company of the driver who hit me offered a rental car or Uber rides with a daily limit. I opted for Uber twice and tipped the drivers. After submitting my receipts, I was informed they don’t cover tips. I explained that tipping is standard in the service industry, and despite my saving them money, they refuse to reimburse the $7 in tips. If they don’t reconsider, they risk losing a lifelong customer and negative reviews across platforms. It seems they might need to rethink their motto.
