Alternate.de has shown a shocking level of incompetence and disregard for consumer rights. I reported serious system crashes (incl. Kernel Power Error 41) within warranty and had to send the PC in three times. Despite this, they performed only BIOS updates and claimed “no fault found” — ignoring evidence I sent. Only after pressure did they admit the CPU was defective.Most absurdly, they later blamed a critical system crash on the weather being too hot, never informing me until I confronted them with logs showing the issue happened in their possession. Their staff refused to acknowledge that software updates count as repairs (they do under §440 BGB) and even claimed they’re “not allowed to talk about the law.”Refusing escalation, denying facts, and violating basic obligations under German consumer law — this was not just poor service, but a complete failure in professionalism, transparency, and legal compliance. I am now pursuing a full refund and legal action. Avoid Alternate.de at all costs.Update:I uploaded this review while the case was and still is ongoing, I thought with most likelihood I would have to go to court & encounter much resistance as I did prior as well. The review I submitted was 2-3 hours before our phone call but on trustpilot it takes about 2 hours or so for your review to be uploaded, I hope for a resolution however this review will remain here until all parties are satisfied, you cannot silence my genuine experience thus far with the company, however our last phone call was much better than all prior communication I had.
