Payment was completed, but for four days we have received no confirmation or response regarding the shipment. We contacted support twice and still got no reply. It looks like a scam website. I do not recommend it.

I ordered a gpu and they dont want to…

I ordered a gpu and they dont want to sell , they took the money and half hour later they told me "technical issues" so they will habe my money Till monday the nex Business day Till then the prices will rise and i can buy same card prob for 300 more Dont know why they didnt want to sell , now i wont buy there , lets give a proper Business my 1000euros

I made order for motherboard

I made order for motherboard, graphics card and cooler.1)Motherboard order was canceled “due to unavailability” and priced proped up after this, I reordered and it was delivered to pick up shop immediately.2) they refused to give me papers for tax refund (???)3) 2000€ purchase and they didn't bother to give me a proper bag (they offered opened cardboard box lol 😂)Overall user experience is 0

Disappointing

I know european tech shops are generally slow and unimpressive, but i expected better from Alternate.If you're a tech shop that sells a new game/console on the day of release - not shipping orders ahead of time or at least on early day of release is bad image.Black november excuses are laughable. Like it happens every year, so what? Also it's not november even.When i tried to cancel the order and just get a much more certain delivery from amazon - they refused, saying' it's "loaded already". Where? Who knows, all i have is an empty shipping label and still no time estimate for delivery. I know, i know a 1st world problem, but this is so messy.

Great experience during the Black Week

Great experience while making many purchases during the Black Week. Products came quickly and the company even processed a free return without any questions.I had problems with other companies during this period, including Amazon. Alternate positively surprised me.

Support for orders

If you need an answer to anything facebook messages are the way to go I got all of my order questions answered there and even got an early tracking number before the email was even generated, that is a massive respect for them.

Serious Warranty Misconduct & Misleading Customer Treatment

***Update November 29th 2025***Something that proves how wrong they were:I recommend everyone to take such cases directly to the manufacturer. Corsair has definitely confirmed the FAULTY hardware and has sent me a new kit. Their communication was exceptionally kind, clever and competent throughout the whole time. That's precisely what one would expect of a company that wants to keep their customers which Alternate obviously doesn't care one bit about. Will never order again. To each their own. If that's how they want to conduct business and customer care, that's on them. If you check all the negative reviews, you will realize how many people have been deceived and scammed. Sent in their hardware. Waited for weeks. Sent in again. It wasn't "faulty" but if they reproduced it at home again, it was! So..... How can this be? Yeah....... Corsair for the win! They made everything okay again. ****Refusal to honor §434 BGB warranty – refusal to replace defective hardware - still under warranty period - and unacceptable customer serviceI am writing this review to warn others about the way Alternate handles defects, statutory warranty, and basic consumer rights.My experience has been deeply disappointing, technically incorrect, and borderline deceptive.I purchased a Corsair DDR5 memory kit from Alternate. After almost two years of flawless operation, the modules suddenly failed completely. My system would no longer POST, even in single-stick configuration at JEDEC 4800 MHz, which is the mandatory baseline that every DDR5 module must support.Anyone with basic technical knowledge knows that JEDEC 4800 is the default, non-overclocked RAM speed for DDR5 on every platform. Even recent lawsuits confirmed that any speed above 4800 is an XMP/EXPO overclock and that 4800 MHz is the true guaranteed baseline of DDR5.Yet Alternate refused warranty, insisting the RAM was “not supported by my CPU” — despite the fact that the modules fail at exact JEDEC default settings, before Windows even loads.This is exactly the scenario addressed by §434 BGB:- A product must be suitable for ordinary use.- DDR5 modules must function at JEDEC baseline (4800 MHz).- If they don’t, the product is defective, not “incompatible.”And the seller—not the customer—must ensure fitness for ordinary use.Alternate’s claim that I “should have researched this” is not only factually false, it is legally absurd.A retailer is responsible for ensuring that a product they sell is fit for normal use. That is the entire point of §434 BGB.Even worse:Alternate repeatedly ignored the technical facts and all the proof in images (MemTest indicating RAM failure, Bluescreen Death etc) I provided, denied the defect without proper explanation, returned the same defective modules to me without adequate testing — and finally sent me a message stating that they would not respond to me anymore and that I may “seek legal counsel” if I wish.This is not professional customer service.This is not correct application of German consumer law.And this is certainly not the behavior expected from one of the largest hardware retailers in Germany.I now have:- yellow DRAM diagnostic LED- failed POST training- Safe Mode BIOS fallback loops- Windows Memory Diagnostic reporting hardware errors- complete system boot failure- proof that both RAM sticks fail even at JEDEC 4800There is no scenario where this is not a clear and obvious hardware defect.Alternate’s refusal to honor warranty obligations under §§437–439 BGB is unacceptable, and consumers should be aware of how easily they dismiss legitimate claims.I strongly recommend reconsidering purchases from Alternate if you expect any form of honest, technically competent, or legally compliant warranty service.

Don't buy here they cancel your order if there is a price increase

Friend bought ram at this website. Price of ram went 2x they told him it was out of stock. Suddenly the same ram is listed for 408 euro instead of the 94 he bought it for. Alternate are a bunch of scammers.
