Hello All
I am having an absolute nightmare trying to get anything that resembles helpful service from Amart to deal with a fault and am getting stuck in an endless loop of false promises, being placed on hold, being directed to online chat, and being directed to call store, and dispatch etc, with nobody taking any accountability.
On 28th January I received a defective product from Amart and immediately notified via phone and email with pictures and was confirmed by Amart as faulty and hazardous.
My immediate concern is to get the 60kg of rubbish you have dumped in my house removed - not being locked down to picking a replacement or worthless voucher. Just immediate removal of the safety hazard from my house.
Despite multiple calls to "customer care" and being promised 100% that this would be removed on Thursday 5th February by "Ramon", it still remains. I have asked to speak to a manager to make a complaint and get this resolved on calls on 2nd 3rd and 4th of Feb and was guaranteed a callback by a manager...none has been forthcoming. Another 1.5hrs today on hold while "Wayne" from dispatch was trying to find a slot to come and pick up your trash....again with no outcome. A further 30mins wasted with "Genesis" who was unable to find any manager to resolve my complaint.
Is it really that hard to remove agreed faulty and bulky products from someone's house? This is both a safety issue to our young daughter and also a cultural issue for my partner that needs the hazardous material removed from our house prior to lunar new year on 17th February.
You have been informed of the faulty product and the need to remove it since 29th January and all I have received is false promises of picking it up and manager call backs and neither has happened.
I can't understand either why I have been promised a call back from a manager to resolve this on 4 separate occasions but yet to receive one?? Is this due huge numbers of customers receiving the same combination of poor quality furniture and customer service?
Refund/Replacement can be sorted out later but your rubbish needs to be gone from our premises by the end of this weekend! It was delivered at my expense so needs to be removed at your expense!
