I have had a smart meter on my solar for 6yrs and routinely exported. Recently upgraded to a home battery and I am able to export now at different times. Joined amber. Amber say I don't have a smart meter despite me confirming with Ausgrid that I in fact do and I am uploading regularly but I am unable to use the touted app tools to force upload. I contacted Amber in Dec 2026 - No response other than automated generic FAQ emails. Unable to do anything as Energy ombudsman is looking into a group action. Unable to leave Amber as I have recieved no bills and don't know what charges are going to be levied or whether all the uploaded electricity is going to be credited. This company has failed all legislated support activities to its customers. Do NOT join Amber it has been a total cluster. All phone calls and emails have had no response in over 3 mths - I wonder whether if this company is insolvent?
