I checked out reviews but only after booking; they seemed mostly negative and I was concerned. But I have to say, my experience on four flights London to Rochester, NY, via Chicago and return, were all spot on. All went smoothly and when there was a maintenance issue with one connecting plane, the staff were great at explaining the process should the flight not go out (i.e. as it's maintenance we would get a hotel paid for and an offer of another flight). The staff were all lovely . . . couldn't ask for better service. And it was a bargain price flight compared to other airlines. Well done American!
