Went for a fitting I chose the Club only to return home and find it was already rusty something the salesmen at american golf did not highlight. As I had not used it I went back and bought the brand new version. I have not been able to hit the club as I did when testing it unsure as to why i have been snap hooking only to today figure out that the shaft is not the one we changed to at the fitting I had initial suspicions however I trued to trust but I have just seen that it is a regular shaft and I was fitted for a stiff shaft the ipswich american golf will never be getting my business again. Absolutely gutted that the salesmen tried ro pull the wood over my eyes for a 350 pound purchase.
Right from my first phone call everyone was so helpful. I was given lots of guidance and advice. I ordered the required product and within 24 hours I collected it from the store. Wow, what efficiency and a pleasant experience it all was. Excellent customer service from everyone.
The customer service from Jon Mayes at American Golf Bird Hills has been exceptional. Got the golf shoes I had asked for in very quickly in different sizes, kept me informed all along and spent time with me when this ordered did not fit!

Went in for a full bag fitting on Saturday morning and my fitter Simon was a godsend, extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in depth. He had tips for my swing that has improved my golf already. I can’t wait until my clubs arrive in the next couple of weeks.

The products arrived in great time, next day however the Rangefinder didn’t work. I was playing a competition in the following 2 days and had no other option but to travel to AG in Oxford. If it wasn’t for David at American Golf in Oxford the whole process would have been 2 stars as I had to travel over an hour to get a replacement. David is a star and sorted everything out brilliantly and hence why 4 stars.
I visited the store to purchase a golf bag, specifically looking for a 14 hole model. I wasn't aware that it would be significantly heavier to carry. After receiving some helpful advice, I opted for a bag with just 6 pockets instead.
I ordered a pair of men’s golf trousers online as a Christmas gift, but they turned out to be too small. When I visited the local store, the staff member who assisted me was very courteous, friendly, and accommodating. Even though they didn’t have my size available, she took the initiative to find a pair at a different location, reaching out to them and coordinating the shipment.
