We have a BA Amex platinum card that costs us approximately £350 per year. This gives us the chance to acquire a companion voucher and extra avios for travel. We have been happy with this card up until purchasing a new Fitbit in November. Since being bought by Google , Fitbit has become virtually unusable. This Fitbit didn’t work properly within 6 weeks and I got no help from Google or Fitbit so I created a dispute with Amex. This went on until last month with me having to download over 40 documents proving the device was faulty but Amex found in Google/ Fitbit favour despite this being against the UK consumer goods act.
