I have just finished serving a pre-action letter for an injunction to have our business funds released. I have never faced this kind of scrutiny and compliance where every transaction was asked of all documents. Once we provided everything, they said the transaction is ok from their end but then their partner bank has started compliance for which there is no time limit. We are a small business company and they are withholding £35,000 from us which were to be used for staff wages. Even where we asked them to cancel the payments and simply return the funds, that can also not be done. It is almost as if the whole operation is created to cease clients' funds and then leave them in lurch for days. The communication is so bad that out of 25 emails sent only 2 or 3 have been responded to and that too in a very generic manner. We feel like we have been scammed and they have no intention of paying heed to any of our complaints, comments or correspondence. We have checked their details with Payrnet Limited- the company they claim to have authorisation from but from FCA register, Payrnet Limited has no connection with them. Ampere does not show up as their authorised agent or associated company. So it is doubtful whether they have any real authorisation or operating illegally in the UK altogether. So if you want to end your business in one fell swoop, feel free to join Ampere and then you will be left running from pillar to post to get your money.
