The experience I had today was completely unacceptable and reflects a consistent pattern of poor service I've encountered. The delivery driver called me before arriving and asked me to come downstairs to collect the package. He never mentioned that I would need to present my passport specifically for ID verification. When I arrived downstairs with my driver's license and bank card, he told me that only a passport was accepted, claiming the other IDs were 'not valid.' This was never communicated to me beforehand. As I was in a meeting, I requested that he come upstairs with me to show the passport, but he refused, citing KPN guidelines. When I asked him to show me this guideline, he simply left and canceled the delivery. I've been waiting for this delivery for months, and it’s incredibly frustrating that it hasn't happened due to ongoing issues with their service. Last month, another delivery attempt failed when the POS terminal didn’t work, preventing me from completing the payment. The next day, despite the driver calling, he never arrived, and still canceled the delivery, even though my partner was waiting inside. These repeated failures reflect very poorly on their service. As a customer, I expect clear communication, professionalism, and reliability—none of which were provided. It feels like they don't value my time to receive this delivery in person, as they keep canceling my order. This is simply unacceptable.
