🧟Amuse and all the circles of hell with them 😵💫🔥
🤦🏻♀️ Unfortunately, with the distributor Amuse, there’s an extremely low-quality and unprofessional setup of how departments interact inside the company🤦🏻♀️
🤷🏻♀️ Like the saying goes: one hand builds 🧱, and the other one instantly wrecks it 🤯
🤝🧚🏼♀️ No matter how hard the sales team and the marketing team try, how motivated they are, and how well they do their job — it all gets wiped out by a badly organized support department 😈 and customer service🫠
🧟♂️ Basically, all the effort the sales and marketing teams put in 🚀 gets killed off by outright unprofessional work and a terrible attitude toward artists from Amuse support😵💫 — toward artists who trusted this distributor 💔
⛔️ I think what happened to me has happened to a huge number of artists too🤦🏻♀️ 👇
🤷♀️ Maybe they even liked it 👍, and wanted to upgrade to the Professional plan 💰 and promote their music through Amuse — but unfortunately, it didn’t work out for them🤷🏻♀️⛔️
📌 And I’ll explain why — using my situation as an example👇
🎯 When I was choosing a distributor, I decided to try Amuse too.
💵 I bought the basic plan to see whether this distributor fits me or not.
☺️🥰 And at first, I genuinely liked it: the interface is pretty simple and user-friendly, and uploading my music took very little time ⏳️ compared to other platforms.
📍 So I came to the conclusion: yes — I like this distributor, and I want to work with them and promote my music through them🚀
💰 I decided to upgrade to the Professional plan 💰 — and that’s where the endless quest begins 🎢🕳️
🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I went through all circles of hell 😈 because there’s simply no technical way to upgrade your plan.
🌐❌ It won’t upgrade through the web browser.
📱❌ It won’t upgrade through the app.
⛔️ It’s also impossible to upgrade via Google Play ❌.
🤯 Basically, you can do absolutely nothing to switch to the Professional plan 💰 — at least in my case🗿
🤷🏻♀️🦔 Is this a bug, or is it actually meant to be like this?
🤦🏻♀️ After I tried literally everything, I started emailing support 🤡 so they could help me.
🔥 By now I’ve written 10 emails ✉️, and support keeps bouncing me around endlessly 🔄😢
💩🤡 I have never, ever seen a more disgusting attitude toward a customer who is trying to give them money 💸.
🧹 Of course, they gave me instructions like “clear cache” 🤦♀️ and a bunch of other stuff — which is completely useless in this situation🤯
🔐 I changed my password, reinstalled the app 📲, contacted Google Play support 🧑💻, and did a lot more.
🎯 Google Play correctly said the issue is on the distributor’s side: Amuse’s tech team should have provided everything needed so upgrades could happen automatically inside the app via Google Play.
🤷🏻♀️ But they, of course, didn’t do it.
💰 Basically, they did everything to lose their own money 💸🔥 — so an artist who wants to pay and move to the Professional plan 💰 simply has no way to do it🤦🏻♀️🫎
🤷🏻♀️🧾 My request to support was simple: either send me a link where I can pay for the upgrade directly 🔗, because I literally can’t do it anywhere…
👋✍️ Or manually switch me to the Professional plan 💰 and charge the upgrade fee from my account 💳 — money I obviously already put there.
🤦🏻♀️🤡 This is, like, for real — surreal!!!
I’ve been trying to give them my money for more than a month...
🤦♀️ But again and again they kept bouncing me off with excuses and simply didn’t do their job.
