My brow shaping experience at Anabels was unfortunately, quite disappointing and poorly executed.
The studio has a clean, modern aesthetic and the receptionist was welcoming, which initially gave me positive expectations. However, the actual service itself left much to be desired. 👁️
I requested a natural, subtle cleanup to maintain my brow shape, but the aesthetician seemed overly confident and took off far more than I wanted. The result is two completely uneven brows - one is noticeably thinner and more arched than the other, creating an unbalanced look that's impossible to ignore. When I looked in the mirror afterward, I immediately felt self-conscious rather than satisfied.
The wax temperature was uncomfortably hot, leaving my skin red and irritated for hours after the appointment. There was also some sticky residue left on my skin that wasn't properly cleaned off. 🧴
To make matters worse, the technician offered no aftercare advice whatsoever - no mention of soothing products or tips to prevent ingrown hairs. For a service that costs significantly more than other places in town, I expected far better precision and attention to symmetry.
On the positive side, the booking process was smooth and very accommodated my schedule without issue. The waiting area was comfortable with complimentary beverages.
Overall, it's an average experience that failed to meet basic expectations. I'm now stuck with uneven brows until they grow back, and I likely won't return for brow services here. 🤷♀️

The application is catastrophically bad — lashes are clumped together in thick, sticky chunks, applied crookedly, and the lengths are completely mismatched, giving me a bizarre, spiky appearance. Some extensions are stuck to my skin rather than lashes, and the inner corners were completely neglected. 😱
Within hours, my eyes became red, swollen, and painfully irritated — I had to visit an urgent care clinic the next day where the doctor diagnosed me with a chemical burn and allergic reaction from the poor application and excessive glue. 🏥
I paid a premium price for this service and ended up with medical bills, ruined natural lashes, and a week of pain and discomfort. The salon manager was dismissive when I called to complain, offering no refund or accountability.
This was hands down the worst beauty service I have ever received, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid lash services here at all costs. They should be ashamed of this dangerous, unprofessional work.

To my great frustration, the polish application was extremely careless, with color bleeding onto my skin on nearly every nail. Additionally, the polish itself was streaky and uneven, requiring three coats to achieve a patchy version of the color I selected. The final straw was the complete absence of a clean-up process; there was no effort to correct the messy edges before applying the top coat. I anticipated a professional, clean finish, but what I received looked like a poorly done DIY job. Even more disappointing was the manager's dismissive attitude when I politely addressed the issues after the service. Not only did I waste my money, but I also left with a manicure I was embarrassed to display. This whole experience has completely shattered my confidence in their ability to provide quality service, and I will definitely not be returning to the salon in the future.
