My recent visit to the salon for a basic manicure was a deeply disappointing experience that I feel I must share. From the moment I was seated, the technician appeared distracted and hurried through the process without any attention to detail. The cuticle work was particularly rough and painful, leaving multiple areas around my nails sore and inflamed. To my great frustration, the polish application was extremely careless, with color bleeding onto my skin on nearly every nail. Additionally, the polish itself was streaky and uneven, requiring three coats to achieve a patchy version of the color I selected. The final straw was the complete absence of a clean-up process; there was no effort to correct the messy edges before applying the top coat. I anticipated a professional, clean finish, but what I received looked like a poorly done DIY job. Even more disappointing was the manager's dismissive attitude when I politely addressed the issues after the service. Not only did I waste my money, but I also left with a manicure I was embarrassed to display. This whole experience has completely shattered my confidence in their ability to provide quality service, and I will definitely not be returning to the salon in the future.
