I was given a DNA test kit for Christmas which I submitted in late February. Once the kit was dispatched, the communication from Ancestry was brilliant. They kept me informed regarding each step of 6 was completed and inbetween, sent various bits of information to me.
My DNA was completed a month earlier than predicted was was good.
Since receiving my results I have spent many hours scrolling and referencing.
The only downside in my opinion, is that you are encouraged to start your 'free' family tree but are only given a limited amount of free clues before you are encouraged to take out a membership which is quite expensive.
Regardless of this, everything else is good and I would recommend the DNA kit to anyone wishing to start their ancestral journey.
