I had a very disappointing experience with C Anderson & Sons LLP regarding emergency boiler works last week. I was assured that the issue was minor and would be resolved the following day, which led me to proceed under time pressure while without heating or hot water. Unfortunately, the work was not completed and the boiler remained non-functional.I raised concerns immediately and did not agree to further payment given the outcome, yet my card was subsequently charged.The job report provided did not clearly explain what work had been carried out or why the repair failed, and referenced photos and notes that were not supplied.I have since obtained independent advice and alternative quotations which contradict the explanations originally given. I am now pursuing a refund through formal channels.I would advise others to exercise caution and to obtain multiple quotes before proceeding.
