The finance company conducted a hard inquiry on my credit report without proper consent. They claimed it was a soft check, but it's clearly visible in my report, which shouldn't be the case. They couldn't even locate my record but still refused to remove the inquiry. I've lodged a complaint with the relevant authorities.
