My baby boy was hit by a car in October and it didn’t look good so naturally me and my partner were beyond devastated. Receptionist kept blabbing on about costs not caring I couldn’t speak because I was in shock. Told her I don’t care and we would pay she then proceeded to approach us a further three times about payment and did not ask us once if we were okay. Vet was stressed and had a go at us for not taking him to the Manchester branch which in an emergency was too far away - she didn’t lay off until I lost my temper and she backed off - considering they were dealing with an incredibly traumatic situation that needed to be handled with the utmost care and empathy they failed spectacularly on every level. My boy died and I have never been so glad to get out of a place so I could grieve and get away from these money grabbing monsters
